The Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, had a farewell meeting with Austin Abigail, who has been an advisor from the United Kingdom over the past period, concerning the Strategic Defence Review implementation, at the Ministry of Defence and General Staff of the Army.
Abigail has been an advisor due to a bilateral agreement made between the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom and our Army, significantly contributing to completion of the implementation of the measures encapsulated in the Strategic Defence Review plan in the pre-accession period, which is very important for NATO integration of our country.
General Gjurchinovski expressed his gratitude for continuous support to our country by the United Kingdom and our endeavors to join NATO and become full-fledged member.
