March 28th 2020 marks the 19th anniversary of the tragic death of Captain 1st Class Ljupcho Mirchovski, a former Commander of the Military Police Battalion (MPBN).
On that occasion, on March 27th, fresh flowers were laid in front of the MPBN Command in Ilinden barracks at the memorial built in his honor.
The commemoration was held in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, without the presence of representatives of the units located in “Ilinden” barracks, representatives of the units of the Ministry of Interior, members of the immediate family of the deceased commander, relatives and friends.
The commander of the unit, Lieutenant Colonel Kire Nikolovski addressed the present members of the MPBN and spoke about the character and work of Captain 1st class Ljupcho Mirchovski. He emphasized his positive qualities such as persistence and perseverance in carrying out his work, as well as in reaching the goals and objectives in building the image and affirmation of the Unit and the Army.
