From 21.09 to 25.09 2020, the Main Planning Conference (MPC) for exercise “Decisive Strike 21” was held at the Army House in Skopje. During the conference all measures and recommendations for preventing the spread of the pandemics were taken into account especially because some of the participants were present at the venue, whereas, some of the participants took part in the conference by using video conferencing tools.
The following documents were prepared at the conference: events and incidents plan, initial draft of the exercise plan, positive identification of the demands and limitations of the exercise, exercise organizational structure, DV day initial plan, defining exercise participants and real logistics support.
There was also an inspection of the terrain and training fields for the exercise at the TA Krivolak as well as reviewing of the civil-military cooperation with county of Konche.
The results of the Main Planning Conference will be essential for designing the Exercise Plan.
There were many people present at the conference closing ceremony including, the exercise planning team lead by the Director of the Exercise, Colonel Blazhe Nikolovski, US Defense Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Peter Rowe, the Head of Section J-7 at the General Staff, Colonel Zoran Dodevski, and the Head of Section J-7 at the Operations Command, Colonel Zvonko Majstorski.
