The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski with today’s tour of the “Mirche Acev”barracks in Prilep and the last week’s tours of the barracks in the Shtip, Kumanovo and Petrovec garrisons finished the planed annual activity of informing the members of the units of the Army stationed in these garrisons.
Lieutenant General Gjurchinovski in front of the members of the units located in the “Mirche Acev” barracks in Prilep this time again gave recognition to all members of the Army for their efforts and professionalism in their engagement in the crisis situation with the “COVID 19” virus management. On that occasion he stated that the justification of the acquired trust the Army enjoys with the citizens should always be a top priority to any member of the Army, together with the performance of the constitutional obligations in the service of the homeland.
As in the other barracks where the Chief of General Staff had had tours before, the members of the units were informed with the current engagement of the Army, the priorities and the expectations in the following year.
The Chief of General Staff informed the units of the Army stationed in the barracks: “Chede Filipovski – Dame” in Kichevo and “Ilinden” in Skopje in November and “Kuzman Josifovski – Pitu” in Tetovo, the NCO course attendees, which is being realized by the TRADOC in the training centre in Pepelishte and “Jane Sandanski” in Shtip, “Boro Menkov” in Kumanovo and “Strasho Pindzur” in Petrovec, which were visited in December.
