As part of the agenda to mark 17th October ‘Day of the Operations Command’ and 29th October ‘Day of the Military Police Battalion’, members of the Operations Command (OC) staff and of the Military Police Battalion organized a humanitarian activity. Funds gathered with this humanitarian activity were donated to ‘The Resource Centre for Children with Special Needs’ at the elementary school ‘Brakja Miladinovci’ in Kumanovo. This centre provides support to special needs children from Kumanovo municipality.
During his visit to the Centre, OC Commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini thanked the children and their teachers for their warm welcome; and for the unselfish efforts and contribution of the teachers taking care of these children. The school principal expressed her satisfaction from the fact that the cooperation between the school and the Army continues. She also stated that the children were overwhelmed with happiness and joy from the visit by Army personnel.
Blood donating activities were also organized, as part of the agenda, to mark the days of the units. Suitable ceremonies will also be held.
