On August 17, 2022, in the “Alekso Demnievski – Bauman” barracks in Veles, a ceremony was held to commemorate August 18 – Army Day and the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Army. The ceremony was attended by employees of the barracks and invited guests from the local self-government, mayors of municipalities, representatives from state institutions and associations of Veles.
During the ceremony, in his address to the present guests, the Chief of Staff of the Training and Doctrines Command, Colonel Lulzim Nuredini, recalled the events and beginnings of the formation of the Army and highlighted the significant periods from the formation of the Mirche Acev battalion to the official accession of the Republic of North Macedonia in NATO. At the end of his speech, he emphasized that TRADOC, as a part of the Army over the years, has undoubtedly made a great contribution to building the capacities utilized by all other units in the Army.
The promotion orders and incentives for servicemen of the Veles garrison were read at the ceremony.
