In the Barracks “Chojlija”, Petrovec garrison, the members of the Tank Battalion (TBn) from the 1st Infantry Brigade (1IBde), marked the 22nd anniversary of the death of their servicemen in the conflict in 2001, Captain Sinisha Stoilov and professional soldier Fejzo Dzeladinovski. Delegations from the 1IBde and TBn laid fresh flowers at the memorial plaque, within the barracks premises.
In his speech, the Tank Battalion Commander emphasized, among other things, that commemorating their fallen soldiers is an obligation which members of the TBn and the Army take on as a debt to their colleagues who sacrificed their lives in defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their country.
He also pointed out they are proud they had such courageous and dependable colleagues and comrades, who will never be forgotten.
