At the ceremony in the Training and Doctrine Command, in the presence of the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vaso Gjurchinovski, 30 members of the Army were promoted to their first non-commissioned officer rank, and among them there were 3 female members.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vaso Gjurchinovski and the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski addressed the new non-commissioned officers.
In his speech, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vaso Gjurchinovski emphasized that the newly promoted non-commissioned officers should be proud to be part of the ranks of non-commissioned officers who, motivated and by giving a personal example, will continue to perform their duties professionally. In the upcoming period, the newly promoted non-commissioned officers will be assigned to the units of the Army, in accordance with their specialty, as company commanders where they will share their professional experience, as well as the knowledge acquired during the training process.
The Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski pointed out that today, the Army strengthened its capacities with leaders who will motivate, inspire and lead, and who will also develop as good leaders through the everyday duties, the training of the units, the building of the capacities and army values and who will contribute to the Army being respected by our allies in the Alliance. It was also emphasized that the filling of the non-commissioned officer corps will continue, because the non-commissioned officers are the ones who show the direction to every soldier, the ones who organize, inspire, motivate. “You are the spine of the Army, and for every country it is crucial for that spine to be straight and strong”, said the Commander.
The best-ranked non-commissioned officer, Sergeant Laze Bogoeski said to his colleagues – the newly promoted non-commissioned officers: “We learned to get up when it is the hardest; we learned how to be a team, a team that created great coexistence. We marched bravely and honorably together with the team of instructors, day and night, in order to reach this goal, a goal marked by cohesion, sticking together, tactfulness, a goal to become leaders”.
At the promotion, the instructors who tried hard to conduct the course successfully and who showed particular commitment and high results during the training, were awarded with appropriate recognitions by General Gjurchinovski and by the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Vasko Kokolanski.
