In the barracks “Ilinden”, in front of the memorial room of the Signals Battalion Command, by laying fresh flowers, several delegations from the Army, his family and his relatives and friends paid tribute to Captain Zoran Bubevski, who tragically lost his life 23 years ago.
In his speech, Signals Battalion Commander emphasized his work, his dedication, his courage, for which he was posthumously awarded the “Medal for Courage” by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
“Today, we paid our respects to him, we shared our grief and once again we promised each other that his sacrifice and work will never be forgotten, we will forever remember him as a hero who gave his life for something bigger than himself,” the Commander said.
