Members of the 1st Infantry Battalion, from the 1st Infantry Brigade, have been engaged in extinguishing wildfires in the area of the villages of Breznica and Tazhevo for several days.
Today, 50 personnel are deployed in this region. The various forms of firefighting training conducted at the barracks “Chede Filipovski – Dame” in Kichevo have significantly contributed to the personnel demonstrating a high level of skill and professionalism in extinguishing fires under real conditions.
Firefighting training within the units of the 1st Infantry Battalion is conducted before the start of each summer season, when there is an increased risk of fires.
