Today, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, had a meeting with the Ambassador of Austria, H.E. Martin Pammer and the incoming, non-resident Defense Attaché of Austria to the Republic of North Macedonia, Colonel Christian Tesar.
At the meeting, General Lafchiski wished him success in his work during his mandate, expressing believes that the cooperation between the two Armies will continue and enhance especially in building the capacities and capabilities of NATO-declared units of the Army.
General Lafchiski thanked the outgoing Defense Attaché, Colonel Christian Smutek, for his commitment to the development of inter-army cooperation, especially in the area of ammunition and mine explosives management.
At the meeting, the Chief of the General Staff invited the Austrian military orchestra to participate in the joint concert to be held at the end of the year.
