Today, at the “NH Strasho Pindzur” Barracks in Petrovec, the personnel from the 4th Security Force Assistance Brigade (4th SFAB) were welcomed by the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st InfBde), Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski.
The presence of the 4th SFAB in the 1st InfBde has had a positive impact on the overall mentoring process in the preparation and execution of training and tasks, as well as in the exchange of experiences and the U.S. Army system of functioning.
The 4th SFAB team is present in the Republic of North Macedonia with the aim of mentoring and supporting the units to reach NATO standards in the training and exercise process. As a focus of future cooperation is assistance provided in the preparation of the Light Infantry Battalion Group (LIBG) for the upcoming evaluation, as well as preparations for participation in exercises during 2025.
The Commander of the 1st InfBde emphasized the excellent cooperation of the 4th SFAB with the command and units of the 1st InfBde and expressed confidence in continuing further collaboration with the new team. The 4th SFAB team expressed their readiness to provide unreserved support to the 1st InfBde in carrying out the activities planned for 2025.
