Today, the Defense Attaché of the Republic of Türkiye, Colonel Recai Yilmaz, had a meeting with the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski. The meeting took place at the premises of the Operations Command, in the barracks “Boro Menkov” in Kumanovo.
At the meeting, the Commander of the Operations Command and the Turkish Defense Attaché discussed the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as the support that the Republic of Türkiye, as a major donor, provides to the Army. Among other things, they discussed the cooperation in the field of modernization and equipping of the Army and the preparation of the NATO-declared units. They also discussed the current and future joint exercises, as well as the need to continue and improve such cooperation.
