Today, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sasko Lafchiski, met with the Commander of the Vermont National Guard, Major General Gregory Knight, who is on a working visit to the Republic of North Macedonia.
The meeting, which was also attended by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova, discussed the cooperation so far expressed through a large number of activities with joint participation in peacekeeping operations, a large number of joint exercises, training and education of the service personnel of the two armies.
Emphasizing the benefits of the three-decade partnership, which was assessed as exceptionally good and useful, Generals Lafchiski and Knight expressed a mutual commitment to continue to intensify it in the coming period.
Yesterday, General Knight attended the Whiskey Guest Day held as part of the Immediate Response 25 exercise, which is being conducted at the ATA Krivolak.
