In the period from 1 to 26 September, 2025, in the “Ilinden” barracks in Skopje, in accordance with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan with the United Kingdom (UK), a training on the topic “Protection of Senior Military Leaders” was implemented with members of the Military Police Battalion.
The aim of the training, which was carried out by instructors from the UK, was to improve synchronization and coordination between the two Armies, as well as to exchange experiences, skills and knowledge in the military police field.
On September 25, 2025 the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, H.E. Matthew Lawson, and the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgoski visited the event.
During the visit, a tactical and technical display and demonstration exercise on the topic “Protection of Senior Military Leaders” were conducted, demonstrating the interoperability between the two military police units in the execution of complex scenarios.
At the end of the training the participants were awarded certificates.
