Today (30.09.2025) at the barracks “Chojlija”, the Defense Attachés’ Association (DAA) accredited to the Republic of North Macedonia visited the Engineer Battalion (ENBn) of the First Infantry Brigade (1st IBde).
Following the welcoming ceremony by the Deputy Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Colonel Blerim Ismaili, and the Commander of the Engineer Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Laste Gjorgiev, a briefing was held during which the DAA delegation was introduced to the unit’s history, mission, organizational structure, equipment, training areas, planned activities for the upcoming period, and the ongoing process of modernization and equipment upgrade.
During the visit, the DAA delegation was presented with part of the engineer machinery and equipment, and they also visited the memorial room within the Engineer Battalion Command.
