The Patron’s Day of the “Boro Menkov” Barracks in Kumanovo was marked by paying tribute and laying flowers in front of the bust of the national hero Boro Menkov, commemorating the 84th anniversary of his death in the area of the village of Belanovce, near Kumanovo.
The commander of the barracks, Lieutenant Colonel Shpejtim Cherimi, addressed the attendees with a commemorative speech about the life and legacy of the national hero Boro Menkov, whose name the barracks proudly bears.
A delegation from the Operations Command (OC), led by the Commander of the Operations Command, Brigadier General Mirche Gjorgovski, together with the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, and the Commander of the barracks, Lieutenant Colonel Shpejtim Cherimi, laid flowers during the ceremony.
