From 03-04 December 2025, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Azim Nuredin, was on a working visit to the Military Section at the Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of North Macedonia to NATO and the EU in Brussels, as well as to the Military Representation at NATO’s Allied Command Operations in Mons, Kingdom of Belgium.
During the visit, General Nuredin held working meetings with representatives of the Military Section in Brussels and the Military Representation in Mons, and met with Chargé d’Affaires, Mr. Ismail Ebipi.
During the meetings, discussions focused on the current activities of the two representations, the staffing of national military positions within NATO and the Alliance’s command structure, the participation of the Army in NATO operations and exercises, as well as other relevant issues related to the current security situation and NATO policies.
