On 1 January, 2026, traditionally on the first day of the New Year, the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st InfBde), Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, visited the Army personnel engaged in support of the Ministry of Interior during a state of crisis at the Idrizovo Prison (PCI-PCH “Idrizovo”), as well as members of the Army deployed on the southern border.
While extending New Year’s greetings, General Chiplakovski was briefed on the current situation, as well as the problems and challenges encountered during the execution of daily duties and tasks.
