On 28 January 2026, at the Command and Staff of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1IBde), the Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Dejan Chiplakovski, had a meeting with the newly appointed officer of the Western Balkans Land Regional Coordination Cell of the United Kingdom Armed Forces, Major Paul Goodall.
During the meeting, the participants highlighted the continued strong bilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom Armed Forces team, particularly in the areas of capacity building, joint exercises, and the enhancement of interoperability through training and courses for the Army’s infantry units, in accordance with NATO standards.
In the coming period, the implementation of planned activities with the United Kingdom Armed Forces team and the Army’s units will continue.
