With today’s first meeting of the implementation working group, preparations have officially begun for the upcoming 29th U.S. Adriatic Charter (A-5) Chiefs of Defense Conference, which will be held in September this year in the Republic of Croatia.
The meeting, held in Zagreb, was attended by representatives from the A-5 member countries and the Armed Forces of the United States.
During the meeting, the implementation working group defined the list of tasks, established the work timeline, and reviewed and updated all documents in accordance with the 2026 rules of procedure. The meeting concluded with the signing of the minutes, which contained the agreed conclusions.
The conference will be attended by the Chiefs of Defense of the Armed Forces of the A-5 member countries, representatives of the United States Armed Forces, Commanders of the National Guards from U.S. states that partner with A-5 countries, as well as representatives from observer countries.
