In the period from 9 to 13 March 2026, the Initiation Conference for the exercise “Flash 27” was held at the Training Camp “Pepelishte” and at the Army Training Area “Krivolak”.
The activity, which took place within phase 0 – Initiation, was attended by representatives from the General Staff of the Army, the Operation Command, the Training and Doctrine Command, the Logistics Base and the Special Forces Battalion.
The objective of the Initiation Conference was fully achieved, resulting in the preparation of draft versions of the initiation documents of the exercise (EXINT) and the guidance from the Officer Scheduling the Exercise (OSE Guidance).
In order to ensure timely planning of the activities that will be carried out during the exercise “Flash 27”, as part of the conference a reconnaissance of the training and exercise capacities at the ATA “Krivolak” and the TC “Pepelishte” was also conducted.
The exercise “Flash 27” is a field training exercise and it will be conducted next year. Its aim is to strengthen the interoperability between the NATO allies and the Army of North Macedonia.
