On 7 April 2026, at the “Jane Sandanski” barracks in Shtip, the 2nd Infantry Battalion service personnel, part of the 1st Infantry Brigade, acting as the core of the Light Infantry Battalion Group, conducted helicopter training in cooperation with instructors from the Air Force VING.
The training was carried out as part of the preparations for the upcoming exercise “Flash 26”, as well as within the process of combat readiness evaluating in accordance with NATO standards.
During the training, several thematic areas were covered, including: marshalling training, tactics, techniques and procedures for embarking and disembarking from a helicopter, as well as landing navigation.
The personnel involved demonstrated a high level of interest, professionalism, and dedication in the execution of the activities.
