Today, 30 March, ahead of the observance of the Day of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st IBde), the service personnel, the command and staff, and the subordinate units of the 1st IBde, in cooperation with the Municipal Organization of the Red Cross of Gazi Baba-Skopje, carried out a humanitarian action through the donation of basic work materials and equipment intended for children with special needs.
The resources obtained through this initiative were procured and donated following prior consultation with professionals from the Primary School “Dane Krapchev” in Gazi Baba Municipality,Skopje.
The donation was handed over in the presence of the Secretary of the Municipal Red Cross Organization of Gazi Baba, Zdravko Georgievski, as well as the principal of Primary School “Dane Krapchev,” Adrijana Mladenovska.
The members of the 1st IBde once again, as many times before, demonstrated their humanity in action and their readiness to help where it is needed the most.
The cooperation between the Army and the local community has traditionally been maintained at a high level, with a commitment for it to continue in the future.
