As part of the international military exercise “Trojan Footprint 26,” activities officially commenced today at the Training Area “Krivolak”, marking the start of the largest NATO Special Forces exercise in Europe. The exercise will be conducted from 11 to 22 May 2026 across multiple locations in Europe.
At the ATA “Krivolak, in addition to members of the Army’s Special Forces, participants include members of the Armed Forces of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
More than 3,000 special forces personnel from NATO Allied and partner countries are taking part in “Trojan Footprint 26,” with the aim of enhancing interoperability, strengthening mutual cooperation, and improving capabilities for joint operations.
The Special Forces Battalion “Wolves” is also participating, deploying two teams to Greece, where they will undergo team reassessment in accordance with NATO SOFEVAL procedures.
