The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Azim Nuredin, held a meeting with the Deputy Commander of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Italy (NRDC-ITA), Major General Dominic Biddick, of the Allied Reaction Force (ARF) today.
During the meeting at the General Staff, Major General Nuredin highlighted the Army’s active role in NATO-led missions, the participation of Army personnel in NATO command and staff, the importance of joint training and exercises in enhancing interoperability with Allies, as well as the continued development of capabilities in line with the Alliance’s Deterrence and Defense Concept.
Major General Biddick expressed his appreciation for the continuous and professional contribution of our Army service personnel within the activities and operations of the NATO Corps.
As part of his visit to the Army, Major General Biddick also visited several Army commands and units stationed at the “Strasho Pindjur” Barracks in Petrovec.
