A ceremony marking 18 August – Army Day was held at the “Aleksо Demnievski – Bauman” barracks in Veles for the personnel of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). In addition to TRADOC personnel, the ceremony was attended by mayors from the municipalities within the area of responsibility of the Veles garrison, representatives of the Veles Sector for Internal Affairs, as well as guests from the local government and state institutions in the Municipality of Veles.
During the ceremony, in his address, Deputy Commander of TRADOC, Colonel Darko Stojkoski, reflected on the historical milestones in the establishment of the Army, up to the country’s accession to NATO. At the end of his speech, he extended his congratulations on Army Day to all TRADOC personnel, those attending the ceremony, as well as all those currently at their workplaces at home and abroad, wishing them good health and success in their work.
Orders on promotions and incentive measures for the Training and Doctrine Command personnel were read at the ceremony.
