Preparations for 29th U.S. Adriatic Charter (A-5) Chiefs of Defence Conference continued with the third meeting of the Implementation Group. The meeting focused on further coordination and finalization of activities for the successful organization and conduct of the Conference, scheduled to take place in September this year in the Republic of Croatia.
In the meeting, held on 27 August 2026 in Zadar, Croatia, participated representatives from the A-5 member countries and representatives of the US Armed Forces.
During the working meeting, the members of the Implementation Group reviewed the progress in implementing the activities agreed upon to date, reviewed the plan of remaining activities for 2026 and those planned for 2027, and finalized the working documents necessary for the successful organization and conduct of the Conference.
The meeting concluded with the adoption and signing of minutes containing conclusions and guidelines for the successful organization and conduct of the 29th U.S. Adriatic Charter (A-5) Chiefs of Defence Conference.
The Conference is expected to be attended by the Chiefs of Defence of the Armed Forces of the US-Adriatic Charter member countries, representatives of the US Armed Forces, the Adjutant Generals of the National Guards of the US partner states of the A-5 countries, as well as representatives of observer countries.
