3 September 2026, in the presence of the sergeant majors of the subordinate commands and units of the Army General Staff, the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski awarded the Army Gold Badge for Partnership, Coordination and Cooperation to the Army Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major Goran Kjirkovikj, who is retiring from military service today.
When presenting the award, General Lafchiski highlighted his successful performance of duties and professional contribution throughout his long military service, which were the result of his personal commitment, dedication and continuous professional development.
Command Sergeant Major Kjirkovikj expressed his gratitude to the Chief of Army General Staff, as well as to all officers, NCOs, civilian personnel, and soldiers for their cooperation during his 32 years of active service. Addressing the NCOs, he said: “Be professional, disciplined, and always be an example. Look after one another, stand firmly by each other, and be ready to fulfill the mission. The Army is as strong as all of us are. Always be in service to the homeland.”
Throughout his military career, Command Sergeant Major Kjirkovikj completed all levels of the NCO education system. His professional competence is further demonstrated by the numerous awards and commendations he received during his long years of service.
