Today (03.27.2014 year) students from high school physical education “Methods Mitevski Brico” and high school “Nikola Karev” from Skopje, visited the Special Operations Regiment (SOR). This visit is part of a collaboration that SOR has with civilian structures.
Regiment Commander Brigadier General Vasco Gjurcinovski addressed to the students welcoming them and wishing them a pleasant stay in the barracks, emphasizing the opportunity students to familiarize what the members of the Regiment what are working.
About 80 students who attended had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with armament and equipment to the tactical display technical word, where vehicles and weapons used by the unit were exposed. For the students several exercises were prepared like: “Working procedures on check point”, demonstration of the use of multifunctional- climbing tower” and “Securing senior military leaders”.
Students were amazed from what was displayed, some of them expressed a desire to become future ARM and SOR.
