Performing the tasks as part of a given mission with a wide range of various activities at the international exercise “Anaconda-16”, is an excellent opportunity for the members of the units of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia to demonstrate their training and mastery of the necessary skills.
In the past few days the platoon members of the Military Police Battalion drilled and displayed their skills in securing convoy routes for crossing a pontoon bridge and securing crossing routes for high state officials.
Also, with their colleagues from the US and Bulgarian Armies they carried out firing a 9mm CZ 99 pistol and drilled reaction to contact. At the same time, as part of the multicultural day event in the areas of responsibility where the training exercise is taking place, on the main square in Chelmno, during a static tactical-technical display they demonstrated the technical specifications of the armament and equipment used at the exercise.
ARM members from the mechanized infantry company carried out tactical firing exercises – platoon in defense, displaying their experience in joint deployment for defending and maintaining the combat power, as part of the activities that are to take place on the day for high official guests which is to be held in Buceirz.
During yesterday the command of the unit where ARM members who perform staff duties are stationed, was visited by OSCE monitoring team.
This exercise is not only an opportunity for the ARM members to develop their combat skills, but also to demonstrate ARM capability to completely integrate the standards and procedures of the allies while carrying out a joint mission.
