In the period from 22 to 26 February, 2021, in the Army House in Skopje, fully respecting the recommendations and measures for protection against the spread of the virus “COVID-19”, with the physical presence of some of the participants and via video teleconference, the Final Planning Conference ( FPC) for the exercise “Decisive Strike 21” was held.
The final planning conference is the final phase of the planning process for the implementation of the exercise “Decisive Strike 21” and it was attended by representatives of the US Army in Europe as well as representatives of the armies of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Greece.
The following activities were realized during the conference:
- finalizing the structure of the primary and secondary participants in the exercise,
- finalizing the time frame of the exercise and the arrival of the units,
- finalizing the events and incidents for the realization of the exercise,
- finalizing the concept for the Day of Senior Guests.
Within the conference in the part of the civil-military cooperation, a reconnaissance is realized in the Kichevo region for donation of containers for accommodation of the regional schools in the villages Brzhdani and Podvis which are to be donated by the USA Embassy.
The planning process for the “Decisive Strike 21” exercise continues in March with the participation of the exercise planning team.
