Main Planning Conference (MPC) for exercise ‘National Response 2019’ was held at military barracks ‘Jane Sandanski’ – Stip, from 25th to 27th June, 2019. The purpose of this conference was to successfully prepare for the forthcoming exercise for dealing with natural disasters, which is to take place in the future at the military training area in Garrison Stip.
At the MPC, besides members of the Ministry of Defence, the General Staff and different Army units, representatives of the following national institutions also participated: the Crisis Management Centre; the Protection and Rescue Directorate; Regional Crisis Management Centre Headquarters – Stip; Ministry of Interior Affairs; Ministry of Health; Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water economy; the Red Cross; Stip Fire Department; EVN Energy company; representatives of Municipalities of Kocani, Vinica and Zrnovci as well as one representative of the Water Company ‘Isar’.
During the MPC documents were produced to specify the number of participants, events and incidents, working points, MTR and signals. Also, Plan and scenario of the exercise were produced, as well as Plan for the Final Planning Conference, projected for the beginning of September, 2019.
