On July 21, 2025, a working meeting was held in the Command of the Air Force VING with the AF VING Commander, the command and staff service personnel and a technical team from the Czech aviation maintenance facility “LOM PRAHA,” consisting of six experts. The meeting marked the beginning of a multi-day technical cooperation that will last until July 25, 2025, and is focused on restoring some of the Mi-8/MT helicopters of the AF VING to operational status.
The team from “LOM PRAHA” arrived with the necessary technical equipment and spare parts, which will be used for the refurbishment of the aircraft. This activity is part of broader efforts to support and maintain the combat readiness of the aviation capacities.
The cooperation with “LOM PRAHA” is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the technical functionality of aircraft, as well as to strengthen the capabilities of the AF VING through the exchange of experience and best practices with international partners.
