On May 14, 2014 at the “Chede Filipovski Dame” barracks in Kichevo, within the exercise” Fast Reese 14″ the self-assessment Level 2 of the company for force protection(CFP) EUBG 2014-2 was started.
The activities began with briefings by the commander of CFP EUBG 2014-2, the director of the assessment team and the director of the exercise Colonel Philip Bouquet of the Belgian Army which was acquainted with the specification and the plan of the exercise.
During his visit the EUBG Commander was informed in detail about the situation in the company as well as the established commands for implementation of the exercise.
After the report of the company commander and the leader of the assessment team, inspection of the equipment, warehouses and office premises of the company were begun. Colonel Bouquet addressed the Company for force protection to express his gratitude to the Macedonian army for its contribution to the formation of the battle group. He also noted that the experience gained in conducting operations to support peace in Afghanistan is welcome and that it gives more confidence to carry out a prospective mission.
The exercise will continue issuing fragmentary orders of the commander of the company, by which the company will occupy the projected base where in the future the EUBG command will be protected by dealing with many events and incidents.
The assessment will continue on the next day according to the planned scenario.
