At the Support Training Center “Pepelishte” and the Army Training Area “Krivolak”, the field training exercise “Joint Reaction -17” has officially started. Brigadier General Zoran Mileski, Commander of the Joint Operations Command at the opening said: “The essence of this exercise, as its name implies, is to demonstrate our joint capabilities for mutual and open cooperation through sharing knowledge and experience, which should lead to enhancement of mutual understanding and trust.”
The Director of the exercise, Colonel Blazhe Nikolovski, also addressed the participants, highlighting that the exercise was an excellent opportunity to conduct collective training of the military police units in accordance with NATO procedures, as well as to improve staff activities of the units that would take part in the exercise, since the goal of the exercise is not a competition but a process of exchanging experiences, knowledge and skills.
Brigadier General Zoran Mileski together with the Director of the Exercise, Colonel Blazhe Nikolovski visited the training area and met with the participants of the exercise, who are accommodated at the military camp “Strela 1”.
A few months prior to the exercise, there were individual and collective preparations in order to train for different scenarios. Tomorrow, there will be equipment display and exchange of experiences in various areas of interest.
The exercise “Joint Reaction -17” is a joint exercise of military police units from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Montenegro, the National Guard of Vermont, and the National Guard of Minnesota, and, of course, military police units of the Joint Operations Command of ARM. The goal of the exercise is to exchange knowledge and experiences through joint execution of tasks during the exercise.
