Today, April 10, 2014 (Thursday), the evaluation of the declared Medium Infantry Battalion Group (MIBG) and Light Maneuver Hospital (LMH) continued at Army Training Area (ATA) “Krivolak”, and thus the exercise “Macedonian Flash 10” entered the final stage.
The day started with setting a viewpoint, cordon and search of the enemy village and establishing combat firing positions of the artillery units. Also during the day there will be realized and the other planned activities under the list of incidents and events, including: the road blockade, escort and attack of a convoy, the formation of permanent and mobile control point, procedures for finding an explosive device, and mobile reconnaissance patrol, air assault, evacuation of wounded and sick (MEDEVAC) and others.
The Light Maneuver Hospital in the Center for training support (CTS) “Pepeliste” continued with admission of persons injured according to the previously developed activities for the exercise. In the previous two days, the staff of the assessed units demonstrated a high level of dedication and professionalism in the implementation of the complex tasks given according to the list of events and incidents. The final result will be a realistic picture of the skills displayed in fulfilling the given tasks.
By the end of the day, according to the plan is to conduct the evaluation of a convoy of military vehicles, which during the movement should be confronted with many events and incidents.
