The activities of the “Maple Arch 24” exercise are taking place simultaneously at two locations: the “Aleksa Demnievski – Bauman” barracks in Veles and at the Krivolak Training Area.
At the Simulation Center in Veles, using JCATS (Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation Enhancements), the headquarters of the five battalions analyze and respond to assigned events and incidents. Meanwhile, a unit from the 2nd Infantry Battalion of the 1st Infantry Brigade is operating in field conditions at the ATA “Krivolak”, practically acting and reacting to the same events and incidents created during the planning process for the exercise.
