In the period from 31.01 to 04.02.2022, a workshop for finalizing the documents for the exercise “Flash 22” was held at the training camp “Pepelishte”.
At the opening of the workshop, the director of the exercise, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Sumrachki expressed his satisfaction with the current course of the planning process and the documents prepared for the exercise, which will evaluate the Light Infantry Battalion in accordance with the Allied Command Operations Standards for Combat Readiness Evaluation (CREVAL) of the land commands and units.
For the first time, the team that will be part of the HICON cell was involved in the planning process. The team participated in the preparation of the operational order documents of the commander of the superior command, HICON. In addition to the operational order of the commander of the superior command, the exercise plan was finalized and the requirements and limitations for “Flash 22” were identified as well.
Within the workshop, a coordination meeting was held between the exercise planning team, the team for evaluation of the Light Infantry Battalion and the team of HICON cell, where all documents and activities planned for the successful implementation of the exercise were specified. At the same time, they also checked the locations for the Distinguished Visitors Day during the exercise.
