In the period from 19 to 22 October, 2020, in the barracks “Jane Sandanski” in Shtip, in full compliance with protection measures and recommendations for COVID-19, a planning workshop for the exercise “Decisive Strike 21” (EXPLAN) was held.
At the workshop opening in his address to the participants, the exercise director, Colonel Blazhe Nikolovski emphasized the importance of the written documents, since they will set the foundations for creating and organizing the whole exercise. In order to direct the personnel towards successful completions of assignments he defined their obligations and responsibilities.
In addition to writing the exercise plan during the workshop, a meeting was held with representatives of the 15th Engineer Battalion of the US Army and representatives of the Office of Defense Cooperation at the US Embassy, as part of the reconnaissance for the upcoming joint training of engineer units from the two armies at the TA “Krivolak”.
The planning for the exercise “Decisive Strike 21” continues in November with the participation of the Exercise Planning Team at the Final Planning Conference (FPC) for the exercise “Defender Europe 21”, under which the “Decisive Strike 21” is included as a national exercise.
