A delegation led by the Command Sergeant Major of the U.S Army Europe and Africa Command (USAREUR-AF), Master Sergeant Jeremiah Inman, is on a two-day working visit to the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Sergeant Major Inman, with his host, Sergeant Major Brane Petreski, had a meeting with the Army Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, where the high level of cooperation, the training in the Army and the overall development of the non-commissioned officer corps were discussed.
During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with the current activities, training and equipping of the declared units of the Army in NATO, the light infantry battalion group, the planned future activities of the Army, arrangements for joint training and exercises with USAREUR-AF, use of facilities of ATA “Krivolak”, as well as the status of the non-commissioned officer corps.
During the stay, the non-commissioned officers visited the Operations Command where they were received by the commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini, and during the visit to the Command of the 1st Infantry Brigade, after the reception by the commander, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski, the Command Sergeant Major of USAREUR -AF Sergeant Major Jeremiah Inman had the opportunity to address the attendees of the “Leadership Program”.
During the visit, which was also attended by Army Command Master Sergeants who graduated from the NCO Academy in the USA, experiences were exchanged on topics related to the activities of the NCO Corps.
