From 22 to 26 September 2025, the General Staff of the Army organized a course on the topic “International Standards for Establishing Safety Distances in the Storage of Ammunition and Explosive Ordnance.”
The aim of the course was to familiarize participants with NATO procedures and the United Nations Standard Operating Procedures (International Ammunition Technical Guidelines) for determining safety distances in the storage of ammunition and explosive ordnance, as well as for the disposal of unexploded ordnance.
Participants included representatives from the Directorate for Acquisition/Ministry of Defence, the Army, the Protection and Rescue Directorate, and the Ministry of Interior.
Certificates of successful course completion were presented to the participants by the Chief of the Ammunition Section of J-4/General Staff of the Army.
