Today, July 3, 2025 the Army Chief of the General Staff, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, held a meeting with representatives from General Dynamic Land Systems – Canada (GDLS-C) and the Defense Sector of the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC).
At the meeting, which was also attended by the Director of the General Staff of the Army, Brigadier General Orce Jordev, and the Defence Attaché of Canada, Colonel Donald Hilton, the portfolio of the military industry company GDLS-C and CCC was presented, as well as the development of the current “Stryker” program related to the modernization and equipping process of the Army. The possibilities for future cooperation in the defense sector between Canada and the Republic of North Macedonia were also discussed.
GDLS-C is in the process of completing the production of light armoured vehicles for the Army or North Macedonia, at its facilities in Canada, with delivery of the vehicles planned for the end of 2025.
