At the General Staff of the Army, by signing the technical arrangement for cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Türkiye within the framework of the EUFOR ALTHEA operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, once again it was confirmed the excellent military cooperation with this strategic ally of ours in peace operations.
The signed technical arrangement regulates the structure of the unit and the tasks performed by this unit within the maneuver company of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye, in this mission. Our members started this task with personnel of one infantry platoon in May last year, thus increasing our participation in this mission, in which we have been participating continuously since 2006, with additional 32 members.
The technical arrangement resulting from the Defense Cooperation Agreement was signed by Colonel Igor Kuzmanovski on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia, while on behalf of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye, by the Deputy Defence Attachè, Lieutenant Colonel Volkan Tenekeci.
