On 3 September 2026, the Army hosted the Plenary Meeting of the European Union “HELBROCK BG” Battlegroup, which was held at the Army House in Skopje.
The Plenary meeting was opened by Colonel Goran Petrushevski, Chief of Combat Readiness Section in J-3/GS of the Army, who highlighted the Army’s participation in the EU Battle Group with forces and assets. The Army continues to contribute to EU-led activities aimed at preserving peace and stability in the region.
In addition to representatives of the Armed Forces of the Hellenic Republic, which is also the framework nation, the meeting was attended by representatives of the Armed Forces of Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Cyprus, and Macedonia.
