As part of the planned activities with which the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia commemorates its three-decade anniversary, in honor of the formation of the first major tactical unit during the WW2 – battalion “Mirche Acev”, in whose honor the Army celebrates it, 80 members of the General Staff and the Army went on a fitness march on the mountain Slavej.
In addition to getting to know the tactical and topographical characteristics of the terrain, the director of the General Staff, Major General Zoran Mileski, gave the participants of the march a brief historical overview of the significance of the place and the formation of this battalion during WW2, whose bearer of traditions is the Army.
