An Army delegation, led by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Azim Nuredin, attended the central commemoration ceremony marking the major historical jubilee – the 150th anniversary of the Razlovci Uprising, held today, in the village Razlovci near Delchevo.
As part of the ceremony, organized under the motto ”A Spark for Eternal Freedom”, the Army delegation laid fresh flowers at the memorial house dedicated to Razlovci Uprising in the village Razlovci, paying tribute to the first organized armed uprising of the Macedonian people in their struggle for freedom and independence.
Ahead of the central ceremony, as part of the activities commemorating the jubilee, members of the Military Band from the Honour Guard Battalion held a concert, while the members of the drill team of the same unit performed the ceremonial drill “Egzercir”.
Members of the Army also provided active logistic support and participated in the traditional march
”Along the Paths of the Insurgents”, once again reaffirming the strong bond between the Army and the citizens by preservation the traditions.
