Today, the Director of the Army General Staff, Brigadier General Simeon Trajkovski, met with Major General John Mead, Deputy Chief of Staff Plans in the Joint Force Command Naples, who is in a one-day visit to the Army.
At the meeting they discussed the significance of the process of planning, equipping and modernization of the Army, and the on-going cooperation with the NATO Joint Force Command Naples.
The visit is part of the planned activities of the NATO Joint Force Command Naples to the countries in its area of responsibility. In addition to this, officials of the Army General Staff had expert talks, where they discussed the role of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia as part of the NATO South-East Regional plan. They also discussed the security in the region.
