Any support for the Army members in implementing the Coronavirus prevention measures, which is provided in the form of donations of necessary protective equipment by other entities and individuals, is always welcomed and deserves gratitude.
On that occasion, the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Defense, Dragan Nikolic and the Director General of the General Staff, Major General Zoran Mileski expressed their gratitude and presented a letter of thanks to the representative of the Association of residents and young doctors – Skopje, Dr Bojan Trajkovski, which donated 450 pieces of face shields.
The face shields made by ‘3D Print Medical Equipment’ activists, who are the real heroes in this action, will provide better personal protection to Army members, especially the medical personnel and personnel who have direct contact with other personnel and citizens in performing their duties.
With this and their sincere solidarity and support of this kind they offer in future, if necessary, the Association together with their associates, who volunteer to make this type of equipment, contribute not only to increased personal safety of army members, but also to easier management with the spread of the global COVID-19 pandemic in the Republic of North Macedonia.
In the past period following the declaration of a state of emergency due to the pandemic, the Army of The Republic of North Macedonia has been performing several tasks assigned in support of institutions and citizens, thus contributing to the prevention of the spread of the pandemic viral infection.
