Today, November 30th 2016, in the barracks “Alekso Demnievski – Bauman” in Veles a ceremony was held marking the handover of duty Commander of the Training and Doctrines Command, and retirement of the outgoing Commander, Colonel Ljupcho Kostovski.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of ARM General Staff Major General Muhamet Racaj, the Director of ARM General Staff Major General Dimche Petrovski, commanders and chiefs of ARM units and subordinate units of the Training and Doctrines Command, representatives of the local government as well as external collaborators.
The Deputy Chief of ARM General Staff Major General Muhamet Racaj gave a speech at the ceremony, in which he stressed the importance of the Training and Doctrines Command in the defence system, and thanked the outgoing commander Colonel Ljupcho Kostovski for his efforts, hard work and dedication. He congratulated the Colonel on his retirement and wished him good health in his well-deserved retirement. Colonel Kostovski noted that having the opportunity to manage a top institution in the Army, such as the Command for Training and Doctrines, was an honor and pleasure to him.
Further in his speech, the Colonel thanked all employees of the Training and Doctrines Command for the cooperation, wholehearted support and their professionalism in the implementation of duties. He emphasized that without the support of qualified staff the Command would not be as successful as it is now. In the end, he thanked the local self-government institutions, all associations and organizations for their generous support and cooperation. He wished everybody good health, happiness, success in their private and professional life, and wished for everybody to be able to experience such a solemn moment that will mark their professional engagement with dignity.
